Our Coaching Team
We have over 50 coaches across the football club, all with varying levels of qualification, experience and expertise, but all with the same shared passion for player development and growth that we do as a club here at the Rolly. Our coaches are:
Enthusiastic
Our coaches model the type of behaviours that we expect from our players. We aim to create enthusiastic children that want to continuously learn and develop
Player Centric
We are of the belief that player centricity is invaluable when coaching young players. We focus on getting to know them and connect in order to meet their needs
Consistent
Our coaches are consistent with the players and their peers. We work with our coaches to ensure consistency with values and beliefs as well as how the players and parents work together
Patient
Our coaches understand the journey for young children through football is not straight forward. Success for each individual will have a different look and feel for each player, our mindset is therefore on helping them
Learners
Our coaches know that in order to provide the beast learning for the players that they must also self develop. They are continually looking to grow as people and coaches in order to be the best version of themselves
Communicative
Our coaches talk in clear and simple terms. We aim to make the player communication experience a positive one, be that verbal or non-verbal
Understanding
Our coaches will always seek player feedback, aim to build relationships with players and parents alike to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved with the club
Creative
Our coaches take risks and challenge the status quo, at EKRR we are always looking to find new ways for the players to challenge themselves and to take risks of their own
Adaptable
Our coaches know that every player is different, one size does not fit all. Our coaches have experiences of working across varying age groups to allow for the working in differing environments
