  • Always encourage fair play to ALL players
  • Be patient and supportive to all players and coaches
  • Ensure your child is well prepared for both training and games
  • Your support is vital, positivity at all times !

Let the players PLAY, let the coaches COACH, let the officials OFFICIATE and let the spectators be POSITIVE

WE ARE THE ROLLY!

EKRR want to ensure that playing for the club is a positive experience for everyone involved, players, coaches and the parents. Your support is crucial to the success of the club and you can help in the following way:

S is for SAFE

Safety of your child is paramount.  This covers both physical and emotional safety.  We need to ensure our children feel safe from potential dangers when training and playing for the Rolly

H is for HEALTHY

Football is a physical game therefore fitness is key to success. Ensure your child regularly attends both training sessions and matches fully prepared to give their all

A is for ACHIEVING

As a parent you can help your child achieve their goals by being their biggest supporter. Always encourage your child to give their best and acknowledge that their best may well be different from others

N is for Nurtured

As parents we nurture our children’s talents and skills and build on their own strengths and abilities they already have

A is for Active

You have an active role in this team – bringing along your child to training and matches and importantly keeping their spirits up when things do not go to plan

R is for Respected

You are your child’s role model therefore it is important to respect all coaches, opponents, officials and of course the rest of your child’s team mates. Working as a team is important, respect everyone and you will earn respect back!

R is for Responsible

We encourage our players to take responsibility for their learning however as a parent it is still important that you still undertake the responsibility of having your child prepared as best as they can be. Working together!!!

I is for Included

Success will come when working as one team. Your child is important to the success of the club and should feel included in all aspects of the club. As a parent you should look to be actively involved and included in the club

SHANARRI is for WATR

WE ARE THE ROLLY !

Code of Conduct

EKRR want to ensure that your child has an enjoyable experience as a valued member of our team. Discipline plays an important part of being in a team and is a big contributor towards success. Should your child be involved in any kind of disruptive behaviour such as bullying, lack of respect towards team mates, coaches or the opposition players and staff then the following procedure would be followed:

  1. A formal warning will be issued to both player and parent(s)
  2. If another issue should arise then a short-term suspension would result in the player not being allowed to participate in training or matches for a period of 1 week
  3. Should further disciplinary issues continue then the player would face a long term exclusion and be asked to leave the team

Player behaviour is discussed at the monthly EKRR Youth Executive Committee meetings and any short or long term exclusions are agreed during this time.
